Model Selection
Configure and manage LLM models used in your Cokpit workflows.
Model Selection
Use Settings → Models or AI Chat → Context sidebar → LLM Models to configure Large Language Models (LLMs) for your workflows. You can select a provider, add models, and manage API credentials.
Add a Provider and Model

Open Settings from the left-hand pane and select Models, or In AI Chat, click the arrow icon on the right-hand pane to open the Context sidebar, then expand the LLM Models dropdown and click Add model.

From the Provider dropdown, select a provider (e.g., Google (Gemini), OpenAI, Anthropic).

Click Add model.

From the Model dropdown, choose a model offered by the selected provider.
- Example: If you selected Google, you might see options such as
gemini-2.5-flashandgemini-2.5-pro.

When prompted, enter the API key for the provider.

Click Add model to finish. A success message will confirm that the model was added.
Manage Models
- All added models appear in the Models list.
- The first added model in the list acts as the default model. You can change the default by clicking the Set as default button next to another model.
- Under Actions, you can edit, delete, or view details for a model.
